| Description of Project: The extension of the Princess Beach Hotel, the Pelican Wing and the Flamingo Wing, rests on an eighty year old landfill. To avoid an expensive piled foundation, an easy to execute stone densification was chosen, bearing a reinforced concrete slab foundation, which also anchors the concrete stability columns. Through this considerable budget saving, extra funds became available for more elaborate finishing materials, and more luxurious furnishings. |  |
| Extent of Services: Architectural, structural and detailed design, working drawings, tender and contract documents, project management and daily site supervision. Also the landscape design was part of AOB's commission as well as the procurement of the furnishing for the hotel rooms. |  |
